Guest guest
Make sure your inner ear isnt a cause. Possibly blood sugar problems causing light headedness. If you are on blood thinners, that can cause lightheadedness. Disorientation can be caused by a number of meds. Just be aware of the problem and get up slowly, walk carefully and dont panic. When you have this problem try drinking something with sugar in it, or gatorade and then wait a few minutes. See if it helps. Your electrolights may be off. Maybe seeing a neurologist would help. I am a pretty cool headed person and not easily panicked. I haven't been on line for quite awhile but here I am again and thought perhaps some one else was experiencig the same. I am 78 female in apparent good health. My organs are all fully intact and in good working order (minus gaulbladder) but have RA for many years and aside from some slightly malformed hands and wrist, knees, ankles and twisting foot, week muscles, ostiophorosis (ca't spell tonight)and a herniated disk between 4th and 5th lombar, a number of food sensitivities, cronic pain and fatigue, I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in<G>But the vertigo is kind of scary and at my age don't need to be falling down!. The only time I have to use my walker or crutches is some times when I first get up as I could stagger and fall or sometimes when working in the garden.I have an RX for the virtigo but hasn't seemd to help after over 2 months. Any ideas? thanks, Lee

I forgot I have a bit of high blood prhaveesure so am taking an RX for that. I do drink a lot of juices and eat a lot of fruit and nuts so probably get enough natural sugars. I all my life have had a problem with motion sickness unless I take a bit of ginger root before a trip. works pretty good. Come to thinnk of it, I used to take about a tsp f ginger root and cinamin in my oat meal along with some olive oil and guess I need to get back using it instead of the pancakes with oat meal. Giinger really s good for a lot of things. Thanks again, Lee
Guest guest
I know several people that had these symptoms on mtx.
