Congrats!!! don't worry about the flatness and wrinkles - they will get better.

Mine looked really weird for weeks after. I did not get a lift either - self

pay also - and now they look completely normal. Just taked a little time.

Thank your doctor for the yucky drains - I didn't get them and had to go back to

his office several times to have " fluid " buildup drained. No anesthesia and a

very large needle. yikes - I really wished I had gotten the drains....

Mine looked like pancakes at first. I cried. Good thing I found this site, as I knew that was normal so at least I had hope. But they still looked pretty bad. They fluffed within about 2 months. AS you have menstrual cycles, hormones increase - kinda fatten breast cells up a bit. And a after a few cycles , they will fluff out! I love mine now! Good luck Beth!

beth, we have the same issues, stay on what you are, (my little condensed list and I see you are taking all of them) detox and give it time That’s what will get it.

Beth

Unfortunately I don't think there is much out there that really helps the neurological symptoms go away but time and working out. At least I am pretty sure that is what got that to go away for me, i had the neuro stuff pretty bad but not the numbness tingly stuff that long like you. I had the brain stuff bad though and that was the worse stuff for me.I think the B12 shots weekly, lots of grass fed meat, Fatty Fish, Organic chicken and working out working out and more working out, tons of fresh water, that was what helped my head the most.I am not talking about little work outs either, I am talking serious workouts, like 2 1/2 hours of just working out till I could not go one more minute, sweat soaked and just kept on drinking that water. I would give myself a nice big vit B12 shot in the arm in my bicep and that I am sure helped sinec it is one of the things that really made a difference for me.I cannot swear to it of course, because it could have been a coincidence. Anyhow cannot hurt to try it. Are you afraid of needles?I have two bottle of unopened B12 injectable that you can only get wtih a script if you want one I can send it to you.Email me and let me know if you are interested. It is fresh and you can read the bottle of the one from Canadaif you want to see it.Hugs , "bethlakey" <bethlakey@y...> wrote:> I took it for awhile, but unfortunately along with so many other > things, didn't really improve my symptoms. HI,

I have AETNA. As long as the appeal process goes on with my LTD provider I will have Aetna. That is just the administrative appeal. After that, I will have to pay extra for Medicare option B.

I had an MRI about a year ago but the doctor I went to (terrible, terrible, terrible) kept having me come back to her for more tests. I had a biopsy on a lump they found and then she wanted the ultrasound that was done at another hospital. Once I would get the information for her, she would send it back to the hospital that took it. Needless to say I had to make two trips to get my records. After the MRI she once again said that the ultrasound didn't match up with the ultrasound that I had. She wanted me to have another ultrasound but I dropped her. She was the worst doctor I had ever been to in my life. After the biopsy, she made me wait three weeks for the results. My nerves were shot. I was continually calling her office. The receptionist was nasty to me after about the third call. I finally had to say that I was going to report the doctor to the hospital administrator. Once she heard this, I received a

call from the doctor immediately and she acted as though I was in the wrong. Talking to me like a child and asking if I was mentally ok? She was absolutely the most HORRIBLE doctor that I have EVER seen. Anyway, I have never been given the results of my MRI. An MRI so painful that I had to be put on Morphine just to get through it.

Beth,Hi, ok, where to start? I will be able to tell you more soon as Blue Cross decided they were not primary ins for me and they requested all funds paid back to them going back to Nov,2003! So all of my doctors have to rebill everything, with Medicare as primary. I should see what they paid soon, and maybe that will help?Have you persued Aetna to pay for the surgery. It seems to me if you have ins you may have a battle but they should pay for both the MRI and the explant? Have you tried to do this? How long will you have Aetna? If you are on COBRA like me, I don't know how long you will be able to pay for it (like me)?Blue Cross would not give me a $ figure or not pre-approve the surgery. Hense, the CC check was used. I finally got the PS to send the claim to Blue

Cross (after the doctors are already paid it can be difficult to inspire them to send it in) She did get a check from Blue Cross and kept it, so I did not get reimbursed at all. :-(BUT, I was not angry about this because she ran into a horrer story taking them out, and I ended up having to have 2 surgeries.Let me know about the Aetna question and then we can start planning your attack!xxx in Ca> > Thanks for the support. LTD is Long Term Disability which was how I was able to keep a roof over my head. They were responsible for paying me up to age 65 as long as I was ill. However, after only paying me for 7 months after a year long fight to win it, they decided that my illness was related to depression. Crazy since most of my symptoms have absolutely nothing to do with depression. But I'm told that what they are doing is absolutely legal.

Social security has been much easier to obtain. My case was just re-evaluated and approved again although it isn't enough money to keep a roof over your head. > > I have medicare option A. I also have Aetna from my last job but that as the LTD could end at any time. I do not have a son. Thank god, because that would really make my situation worse than it already is. When hearing Shari's story, my heart goes out to her and makes me even angrier than I already am. How do people get away with what all of us are going through??? All for money. The bottom line is always money. I feel like my entire life has been a battle. I know that it could be worse but right now I don't feel as though it could get any worse. I'm not sure if you know what I mean or not.> > I've never been married because my life revolved around my career.

Engaged twice but broke up before the wedding. Thank goodness. Talk about problems!!! My career has been my life and it along with my health has been taken away. So, that is my story. Similar I'm sure to many others on this support group. The bottom line is that I'm sick, very sick. I haven't been able to leave the house for more than a few hours in the last three years. When I do, I become even more ill. My body starts to bloat with fluid, I become weak and extremely fatigued. There are days that I'm too weak to bathe. Today was one of those days. I know it sounds disgusting but true. > > What is CML? I have no idea what that is but have seen it posted from other members before. > > If you know how to fight an insurance company please give me some pointers because I need to get these things out. I need to

have them taken out by a doctor in the Philadelphia area as I'm just way too sick to travel.> > Thank you> Beth.> >

Everything that I read at the time showed stats that said most severe RA patients are disabled within 7-10 years of onset. Fortunately for me, the rheumy that dx'd me told me about the new TNF inhibitors (which just included Enbrel & Remicade at the time). Fate worked out for me in a way. I chose to give up my dream of being a teacher due to the work hours & germs (in all honesty I never thought that I was permanently giving it up). I moved back home to NYC since I was still under my dad's insurance. My rheumy in NYC confirmed my diagnosis. I begged her to request approval from my insurance for the biologics. I sell on ebay as well, I have a fabric store and sell quilts, ect, but it is expensive to do so and you can lose money. If you don't sell you still have to pay the high insertion fees and if you do sell you pay a sellers fee that can actually take away profit and have you losing money. Be aware that ebay isn't an easy money maker. They have raised their fees recently.

I make quilts and sell them, among other craft items and fabric. If you have a talent then try using this to make a home business and sell online. There are other online auctions that dont have the high fees of ebay and you can also set up your own site or sell to a local shop.
