Guest guest
I'm doing ok, Gloria. Just been really busy test sewing and now I've signed on as a script writer for a local movie maker for a percentage of whatever the movie makes. That keeps me busy and out of trouble at night. Without busy I'd be crazy. And of course there's housework and yes I do have pets. I have 10 birds and they alone are enough to keep you busy but they make my life much more enjoyable than you can imagine. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hoping you can at least type enough to let us know how the surgery went and that you are home ok. Hey one of the women on my embroidery groups spilt hot cooking grease on her hands and they were bandaged for 3 months and she sent messages typing with a pencil in her teeth. That's when you know you are seriously addicted to your email and computer lol I've developed a nodule on my right index finger which really scares me as I am right handed and of course that is the finger I use the most for sewing, petting my birds, everything. It's been swollen and red and aching for the past 2 days and I've been trying to rest it as much as possible. I just hope and pray this is a one time thing. But somehow I don't think it is. Here's a picture of one of the blocks I did that is going into a quilt for charity. I have made it a lot smaller than it actually is. It is centered in a 8" block and there are 8 different animals peering through these snowflakes. This one is a kitty cat. Some little kid is going to love getting these on a quilt I thing. I can only do machine embroidery now due to the RA: It's windy and cool here in Maine today. Deborah are you anchored down good in Portland? I had to go out last night and take my daughter to her first Junior High dance which she loved BTW and it was raining and blowing so hard I wasn't sure I was going to make it home on the road, thought the car was going to get picked up and air mailed home lol How is everyone else doing? Guest guest
Dear Ila- This weather has me out of my mind here really. Its 65 degrees with 60mph gusts and driving rain from 4-430 and then it stops and that wind starts blowing cold. Now its 20 with the windchill factor out and another front it due in. My joints are going nuts and just having had a remicade infusion isnt helping at all. I feel like I have the worst flu. I think my body wants to stay unconsious because trying to wake up is really hard. I feel like Ive been in a coma for ten years. I really do know what a vampire feels like. I wake up and feel like the living dead LOL. It takes me an hour just to get out of bed, an hour showering and dressing, then there is online email checking. That nodule is the RA manifesting itself. They come and go. We will have to meet some night soon. I use sports tape for my joints. It does help. Then I use ice. Hugs, Deborah On 10/21/06, Ila <sewcraftyila@...> wrote: I'm doing ok, Gloria.
