Do they have to be mentally ill in order > for this to happen? There was a family who I grew up near, their uncle had been in and out of prison for years. He was in his 40's when I remember him. He was on probation and got into a fight with a bus driver. It says on the news he just could not live outside prison as he did not have the skills. He asked the Judge to lock him up. Not long after that there was a change in the Glasgow jails to help people adjust before probation. It had to be around the late 60's early 70's. __________________________________ - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.

Guest guest
, Doesn't everyone have the right to make this decision for themselves? This is how you feel about it and that's great. For you. I've been homeless also as well as having really difficult times regarding other necessities as well as having 2 children to try and care for through the process. It was horrible beyond compare. But those times are now over for me and I have a pretty easy-going, easy life. It's the same life I had when I got started on the psychotropic drug trip. But I also came out of that. The way I differ from you is, you seem to be pretty glad that you managed to live through it, and if I were given the choice of going through what I did to get to where I am now, I would say emphatically, NO. I would not do it. Being alive now and having a good life still does not make what I had to go through to get here worth it. Life just isn't that precious to me. I'm glad it is to you, but you shouldn't expect it to be to everyone else. There's no doubt that when a person gets to that jumping off place that their lives usually can and will improve. But practically anything would be an improvement at that point. Does that make life worth living? To some yes, but to others maybe not. > > > > , > > > > I'm with you on this one! Guest guest
It seems this person has made her choice and it is hers to make. Either she lives with Mom and cats or she doesn't live. If this is the only 2 choices she gives herself, she must not want any others. It's her decision. > > I'm glad to hear that you are a strong person. How did you do it?
