Guest guest
Terry Bearden (nandtbearden@...) has sent you a news article. (Email address has not been verified.) ------------------------------------------------------------ Personal message: So, now we are segregating our medicines? When will they start working on medications for my ethnic group? I am Cherokee, Spanish, Dutch, Irish and Isleta Pueblo. (Which I guess are technically all caucasian, right?) Also, if they noticed that a combination of 2 currently available medications was proving to be effective in treating heart disease among African Americans, why not just prescribe both of these drugs? Why create a faux product just for the sake of getting a special dispensation from the patent gods? Does the phrase BIG BUCKS ring any bells? Now they will have 13 years of patent exclusivity for this drug for which they will charge exhorbitant prices when the 2 drugs already on the market are probably already available in generic or will be well before their patent for this new combo will expire. Money hungry bastards. Anyone know of any malicious side effects from this stuff?
