Can we just stick to supporting people and helping each other instead of trying to figure everyones reasons out for doing certain things? I know I am VERY sick and I appreciate any ideas anyone has to get better, if they work or not, but I wish we could stick to the topic from now on....support. These emails that everyone is sending out are a bit depressing, like any of us need to be more depressed.....

I can't believe that we aren't able to voice different opinions on

this group without having to resign, it is sad that e is

leaving because I feel much of her information is very good and

helpful. I am not going against Patty's information, however e

has 4 years of Nursing school and all the years of nursing practice

to provide us with some really good information and to chase her away

because her opinion isn't all for natural remedies seem really silly.

I think she has been harmed by implants just like the rest of us, and

even if we don't agree with what she is saying doens't mean we should

chase her away.

I also feel that it is really interesting to get both sides of the

story the natural and the allopathic views.

I am going to tell a story here that is true and shows that natural

healing doesn't alway work and can sometimes have dire consequences,

will I be asked to leave also for this? I hope not, cause I enjoy

this group allot.

There was a woman my husband new, she was very healthy and all

natural and was a vegetarian and took supplements and herbs and was

very into the holistic lifestyle.

One day at work he noticed a huge lump on her neck the size of a

walnut and so did some of the girls in the office, concerned they

asked her about it. SHe said not to worry she was being treated by a

naturopath and it was under control. Well, time went by and the lump

grew and grew and she began to get sicker and sicker and finally was

wasting away and too ill to do anything, so a friend convinced her to

see a regular Dr. Well he told her it was cancer and that it had

spread to her voice box. He told her if she wanted to live he would

have to remove her voice box. SHe refused and went back to her

natural healer and herbs and supplements, well a few months later she

died.

My point of this story is that sometimes natural treatments and

therapies just cannot save us. Now if she would have went to a Dr and

had radiation treatments in the very beginning she may have been able

to live a few more years of her life and instead she dies swiftly and

painfully.

Now is this offensive to anyone here? It really happened so if it is

then maybe you need to look at this as an example. Healing therapies

can help keep us healthy and they can improve our health but they

certainly cannot cure us of cancer or terminal illnesses.

My other point here is that e provided this group with the

information that we still need to be seen by dr's for pap smears,

mamograms and other tests that natuopaths do not provide if we want

to have control over our bodies. I am not saying that all Dr's are

good, far from it. But they allow us to prevent and treat diseases

that cannot be treated with a vitamin.

I am sorry to see e go because she challenged someone elses

opinion on this group, I think is is sad, because if someone

challenges me I do not take it personally I would look at it as an

opportunity to re examine my own opinions and see wether or not there

is validity in someone elses, and it is also freedom of expressing

ones self. THis group should be allowed to express all forms of

healing not just one.I also see that e was way sicker than

allot of us here and she is doing so much better now, it would seem

that her methods are certainly working well for her and I really like

having an RN to provide us with information coming from her education

and extensive background.

I will miss you e

I agree totally, I am still sick too and that is why I was saying

that I think it is stupid to make people leave the group because they

don't agree with what therapy works best for what. Natural or

chemical, if it works I think we would all like to know about it. SO

why all the arguing

Hey ,

The definition in Taber's didn't say that polyclonal

gammopathy was myeloma, but was present in diseases

similar to myeloma, which is an autoimmune disorder.

And it does have to do with different types of cells,

poly meaning " many. " I too, doubt that you have

myeloma, but you're right it does have something to do

with an autoimmune/connective tissue disorder.
