Guest guest
amymaon, Check with your local clinic/hospital/drs. office and see if there is a support group in your area. Go to the American Liver Foundation, www.hcvadvocate.org, Liver Health Magazine, Hepatitis Foundation International to see if they list a support group near by. (There are more sites but that will get you started). If you find one take your mom and as many of your family to a meeting as you can. www.hcvadvocate.org has one of the best libraries of printable information I've found. One of the tools to help a patient stay on treatment is antidepressants, you may want to consider them also. Stay with this group, there is a lot of knowledge and experience here. It just hurts me knowing the fact that she is going to get sick all the time. I seriously feel like crying everytime i talk to her cause i know during the treatment process it's going to worst. I know i should stay positive but it's hard for me to handle. >
