Hi Owen,

I'm NOT saying CMT cannot cause hearing loss, but remember my husband is a

dentist ( he does not have CMT) and his hearing is not the greatest. We

attribute the hearing loss to the high speed hand pieces. So, some of your

hearing loss could be caused from the same. Just a thought.

Hi Owen,

Sorry I'm a little late in responding, need a bottle of Ketchup I

guess. You ask me if it was the high fequencies I had the trouble with and

the answer is " Yes " . I have been diagnosed as having nerve deafness. After

you had ask the question I went to my Audiological Report. If you have a

copy of one take a look at the chart. The horizontal numbers are the

Frequencies (hz), the verticle numbers are the decibels. My chart shows the

trouble beginning at the " 1K , 25 decibels " and drops to " 8K,90 decibles.

That above information don't mean to much unless you have a copy of a chart.

What it comes down to, man I'm deaf. Whats that you say. If you don't have

a hearing aid get one if possible.
