Guest guest
Thanks I was ready to start banging my head against the wall...lol. I have had it twice while on treatment, also 1 time in burn unit, I was receiving antibiotics 24/7 intravenously (sp). I recognize it whenever I get it. I don't think the 2 alternatives you came up with are his problem. My Mom, use to call what it sounds like he has, a stomach ulcer. Guess what the cure was.....lol, think all Moms used laxatives. Actually there was a certain one called Caroid and Bile Salts, it would get rid of them I have had them too, man they hurt. Pharmacist might be able to steer you if you decide you want them. Asked one here a while back and he said they are still around, just not kept on shelves anymore....Good Luck with Him...Connie --- claudine intexas <claudineintexas@...> wrote: > I think the nyastatin is used for thrush - a yeast > infection in the mouth, and it is common in people > on > antibiotics, especially for a long period of time. > That was my first thought when he called the first > time to say his mouth was sore.
