Guest guest
Les Porphyria is a skin disease. The kind my husband has is called PCT and is from the Hep C. It is a photosensitive disease and causes blisters that fill up with fluid that can not be processed by your liver and they break open and cause painful sores that bleed. When they finally heal up they cause bad scarring. You also get more facial hair. The blisters are usually on your hands arms and feet but can go on to the trunk area also depending how bad you get it. The Combo Rebetron kit has kept the porphyria at bay for my husband but he has to stay out of the sun and stress will cause the blisters also. We all know that stress is not good for Hep C also. How do you stay stress free with a chronic disease I will never know or understand. Thank goodness for antidepressants. Hope this finds you well. It causes skin leasions and your face looks like you just turned 16 and have acne again. Sun worsens this and so does stress........So we're going to lead a life without stress......do I laugh now, or wait until later. With rosacea you can control it with medication, but you can't cure it. Sorry about that. Good luck. Anne
