Guest guest
Dear , You were so excited and thrilled to meet a Dr. you consider so knowledgeable about CMT. As I understood his beginning protocol for you were some pain patches. Now you say he wants you to stop using quinine. Your Dr. has a reason for asking this of you. Did you ask him? If not, I encourage you to do so. While I have not used quinine myself, when I DO meet a doctor who is knowledgeable, I like and we can work together, I DO take her or his advice. So, based on this experience of mine, if what you say is true, I encourage you to follow this new Dr.'s regimen for you. You are young and have such tremendous access to care in medicine, I encourage you to follow the new Dr.'s request AND I encourage you to ask this Dr. you like so well all your questions. It is quite a 'healing presence' when one is as lucky as you finds a Dr. you like, and respect his knowledge. I encourage you to keep the lines of communication OPEN with your new Dr. This will benefit you tremendously. However, if you are not willing to follow the new Dr's. plan, be honest, tell him you can no longer see him and find someone else. Do not waste this Dr.'s time or yours. That is my encouragement from my experience with several doctors. ~ Gretchen
