I'd g to the Pegassist site, sign up and then call one of the on call nurses.

They are very knowledgeable and have helped me several times with answers. I'm

being treated at the County facility by interns and really have to watch them

closely so do a lot of consulting with the on-call nurses.

Another thing is that Pegasys is recruiting for a study called REPEAT. They are

looking for people who have done previous treatments, especially PegIntron,

because they want to prove that Pegasys is more effective than the PegIntron.

Worth checking into....

Pegasys for longer than 24 weeks??

The Big Sis started Pegasys on Thursday -- it's her third go round, as she

has done the Combo and Peg-Intron. Also, she's 3A. The doctor was telling her

he will leave her on it for only 24 weeks, as he has seen no evidence that a

longer period of time has any benefits. With luck, the 24 weeks will be all

that is necessary, but because I like to have an arsenal of information if

needed, I was wondering if any of you have come across anything that suggests a

longer than 24 weeks period of Pegasys brings better results.
