Guest guest
I have been using cervical decompression (essentially intermittent traction) at chiropractors.Seems to help with ice on neck afterwards.Added robaxin 750mg 3X daily and I'm better.I am an anesthetist and I can honestly say only a select patient population that I question have benifited from aggressive treatment such as surgical intervention.Cervical epidurals are usually a precursor to surgery..Personally I would avoid surgery till all other options are exhausted.Buying a cervial traction device or collar that can be ratched might be a good ideal.Inversion table with a makeshift traction device is a thought. Guest guest
Well, one thing that I can say about surgery is that I can at least move my neck and shoulders now. I went a year before surgery unable to move my neck at all or even raise my arms! Yes I still live with pain and I don't think it will ever go away 100 percent. You have to way the pros and cons before surgery.... Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T Re: TRACTION? Phil, Thats what says on the board. Avoid it at all costs. My Chiro always says NO WAY.
