I think you need to see another doctor. Most of us live long lives even if we

don't clear. I am 1-b and have been on tx 22 wks. now. I take Pegasys shot and

ribavarin pills. I cleared at 12 wks. and will go in two weeks to test for 24

wk. viral load. What about transplant? Have they even discussed that? There

is always hope no matter what. If you want I am in another group also and alot

of them have cirrhosis and have had transplants etc. You can write to me

private if you wish for address. I belong to alot of groups but this one does

have alot of people dealing with cirrhosis etc. I will probably get yelled at

for mentioning another group but that's ok, won't be the first time. My e-mail

PS Don't know why Pegasist said that as it does cause seizures in some people

and it is even on the warning I get from them. I know of another man who had

seizures on it and had to be taken off. Hope I can comfort you.
