Guest guest
Hi Ladies! I got the latest brain scans done... a Spectisciopy and Flair MRI are normal without findings to suggest MRI negative demyelinationg disease as questioned. YIPPEE! The 4 spectra all show a strong NAA peak which is much greater than the creatine and choline peaks. On 3 of the 4 spectra, the creatine peak is greater than the choline peak wall in the foUrth, they are nearly equal, Although creatine is slightly less. The NAA/creatine ratio in the 4 different voxels ranges from 1.41 to 1.71 which is within normal limits for white matter in normal patients when standard deviations are taken into account. The choline/creatine ration in the 4 different voxels ranges from 0.79 to 1.05, " the higher value slightly above the normal range but uncertain significance. " The myo-inositol ratio ranges from 0.62 to 0.67 for 3 of the values with " 1 of the values at 0.48 being slightly less than normal range. " This minor difference is believed to be of no clinical significance. Yippee! Still waiting to hear from the insurance company as to if they will approve explantation or not. Thanks for prayers and support and validation! God Bless you all, Deb Impression... Normal white matter spectra of the brain without findings to suggest MRI negative demyelinating disease as questioned.
Guest guest
Great news, Deb! Now, we just need one more letter like that for the explant decision! Guest guest
Deb, I may have missed your symptons altogether, but I was interested in knowing what your symptons were/are and why did they do the MRI...I am seeing a neurologist in a couple of weeks. I have left sided headaches and first MRI was normal before my explant. My headaches are on the same side where I had all my breast problems. My lymph nodes in my neck are still reactive on that side too. Thanks Debbie (nc) --- Patty <fdp@...> wrote: > Great news, Deb!
