Brockman - Funeral arrangements

Friends,

I spoke to Brockman for a while today. She is trying to absorb the

shock of her son's death by suicide, but she is doing relatively well. I'm

sure there are many of you who didn't know her personally but would still

like to find a way to send your sympathy and encouragement.

I discovered that she carried no life insurance on him, and she could use

some help paying for his funeral expense. If you would like to mail $5, $10

or more to help defray the cost of his funeral and burial service, I know

she would be grateful for your help. Losing someone you love is so

difficult, and being unprepared for it makes things even more so.

Dear Cassie,

Thank you for what you have done to express sympathy for my son. I have been

receiving emails with words of comfort that have been an encouragement to

me.

I was totally unprepared to bury my son. I am completely heart-broken, but I

will do my best through this sorrow to do what God has given me to do.
