I just wanted to thank you all for being a great support group for

the few months I have been a member here.

Unfortunately, I won't be checking my email on a regular basis

and have to unsubscribe from daily emails. My husband and I

had a house fire Dec 26th and are now living at a local hotel

with our 2 cats and 2 puppies, (luckly we managed to get

everyone out safe and sound).

There was some major damage done and we lost a great deal

of things, but the important thing is that we're ok.

I'll be checking email via the site maybe once a week or

so until our computers are replaced by the insurance

companies.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year's celebration

last night, and I look forward to chatting with all of you again in

the near future.

, I thank God everyone got out of your burning home with out

injury, that is the only thing that really matters. Also thank God for

INSURANCE! smile.. I know that your loss must seem devastating right

now, sometimes it does seem like if it weren't for bad things

happening to us we would be bored to tears, (but I sure would like to

find out, and I KNOW you must feel the same right now!). The old

saying about " when it rains it pours " is certainly right on the money.

Just remember we are here for you, if you need some one to complain

to, or cry with, or any of the things friends do with/for friends we

are here for it all. Sharing our burdens with friends really does

help, so please call on us even if only for catharsis.

You and your family are in our hearts and in our prayers, I look

forward to you getting back on line full time. Please don't over do

anything physical, sometimes in situations like your in, we tend to

forget our disability, then life truly becomes miserable, BE CAREFUL!
