Wound care is SO importnat in CMT patients, I'm sure you read what happened to my mom, who got a wound from her braces not fitting properly. ABSOLUETLY do as Joyce said, go back to the orthodics place that made your braces and have them refitted, it could be as simple as them adding extra padding. I would also try and get in to see your primary care physician ASAP for treatment to clear up the wound. So, promise you'll call right after the holiday, please!!!! PEACE & LOVE Judy g.
