This page was written to counter the propaganda spewed by the drug companies

and those in the psychiatric profession. Their motivation is to make money

and shut people up. Our motivation is to prevent suffering.

See: What's

Wrong with Psychiatry?

Akathisia is the worst possible suffering and there is no cure or even

treatment to relieve it. It is not a mere restlessness of the muscles (which

is a commonly told lie). It is a paradoxical impossibility in the brain

making it impossible to remain inside one’s self or to wait, or for the brain

to function in the normal state of being in control and at rest (a state that

is not perceived until it is gone. People may say they are not at rest or are

disquieted, but they cannot perceive that the innermost part of their being

and their brain really is, until they experience akathisia.) Despite the

outward appearance being an inability to sit still, it is in the innermost

part of the being which is disquieted, not the muscles, and moving doesn’t

relieve it. Far beyond " jumping out of your skin " , you are really driven to

get out of yourself. It really is not possible to even imagine what

akathisia is like, until one goes through it. Most who experience the severe

form if it (not just a mild " ants in the pants " feeling) are either driven to

suicide or are left with life-long mental trauma and/or brain damage. It is

not something a person can ever get over having experienced. There is

nothing worse in existence, except eternal damnation and what Jesus suffered

in paying for our sins. In fact, akathisia is the closest experience to what

Jesus experienced, and a person who has been devastated by akathisia has the

closest glimpse to what it must have been like for Jesus when God the Son

became sin and He was separated from the Father. God separated from Himself

is the only paradoxical impossibility in existence that is worse than and

more unendurable than akathisia.

Akathisia can be caused by stimulants, anti-depressants, and neuroleptics

(anti-psychotics). The severe form of akathisia is most commonly caused by

dopamine-blocking anti-psychotic drugs. In general, the more powerful the

anti-psychotic, the more powerful and severe the akathisia. There are some

powerful injectable anti-psychotics that are long-acting, called depot

anti-psychotics. They are designed to remain active in the body for a very

long period of time (the current ones, about a month). Once injected, the

drug cannot be deactivated or removed from the body, and any adverse

reaction, such as akathisia, cannot be stopped. The drug that will be used

in the mass injections (the Fifth Trumpet - Rev. 9) will be the most powerful

depot anti-psychotic ever - so long-acting it will last five months, such a

severe poison that it will cause the worst akathisia in the most number of

people, so sedating that it will incapacitate and paralyze to such a degree

that though people will long to die, they will not be able to kill

themselves. Note that anti-psychotics do not cause a restful, peaceful

sedation like sleeping pills or Valium, but a sedation that is merely a

paralyzing restraint on the body and mind to control a person’s behavior and

force them into complacency. It does not reduce awareness or consciousness

or cause relaxation. Sedation is really not the accurate word to describe

the effect of anti-psychotics; a better term would be mental and physical

immobilization. An even more frightening fact is that the longer a person is

exposed to a neuroleptic drug, the more likely they are to develop a type of

permanent, irreversible akathisia (called tardive akathisia), other permanent

movement disorders (tardive dyskinesia, tardive dystonia), or permanent

psychosis, especially when the drug wears off. This can even occur after a

very short exposure in susceptible people.

Thanks Sandi,

I am circulating this further. I hope to talk to you soon. I've been

wondering how you and your family are getting along... perhaps this weekend?
