I have no idea, and I am so glad you responded. I am very new to this

group, so I need a lot of help, please bear with me and don't throw

me out. I had been referred to a digestive disease specialist because

of my low weight and excessive weight loss. I am Male 35 5`6 112

pounds. The heavist I ever weigh was 135. I eat like a pig but

shortly after i eat, i go to the bathroom. I have to go next week to

pick up copies of my lab result.

Hi ...Genotype is basically just where it is most geographically

common, and

this gives a clearer picture as to how quickly the virus is able to mutate,

and therefore

is a determinant of how well it will respond to treatment.

Those infected with slow to mutate strains, are able to clear more of the

virus with

treatments than are others. However it is no different in that there is

still no cure

for it. It does return, and the treatments have been known to produce

significant

lasting side effects.

Before selecting any treatment for it...be sure that you explore completely

what

you would be getting yourself into.
