Guest guest
Dear All, I am 50 years old, and I am a Bangladeshi, I am staying abroad for the past 20 years. And I am still working as an administrator in a company. Since last 2 years I am passing through very stressful and depressing mental conditions after I have discovered that I am a victim of HCV (Hepatitis C Virus). Over here I cannot discuss or consult with any doctors or any victims about this disease due to local policies/rules. Just day before yesterday, I found of here in your website about `same boat brothers' who were gathered together and were discussing freely about their health conditions, which inspired me & encouraged to get involved in the discussion. As I told, I discovered that I am also a sufferer of HCV-C (Hepatitis C Virus) " re-active >11 " . Accordingly, after through medical checkup the PCR results were Genotype 4a (viral load 38, 53,094 copies, RNA 38.8 x 10.6). Suggested medication is `Pegasys - IFN' & Cap E-ge/200mg. I have still yet not started any medication for treating HCV due to the expensive treatment and other certain circumstances. But I am taking some preventive measures, like by avoiding high calorie fatty foods, oily foods, foods with spices and also dairy products. And I drink plenty of water. My other physical conditions are: 18 years back I had an `open heart surgery' due to the cause of mitral valve calcification, which was replaced with a metal valve (MVR). Every month I consult with cardio doctors for blood test called `coagulation studies' for the medication dosage calculation of the medicine that I take regularly called `Warfarin Sodium'. It's been 5 years I have discovered Hypersensitivity & Diabetes type-2 and I am also taking medication for that. Furthermore, from the past 3 years I am also suffering with congestic gastro problems; abdominal bloating called " dyspepsia " . I am extremely sorry to write about my whole health conditions by taking your valuable time. I will be happy to learn from you about what you think my HCV status & conditions are (by the information I have provided above). I will be glad if you could give me advices from your experiences. Thank you. Abdu.
