By showing respect to G-d in the manner and way that I choose , this doesnt place my religious beliefs on others, and certainly should not offend you or anyone else. Since when is showing respect disrespectful. < This has nothing to do with love, Jim. . I respect other'other'<WBR>s practices and beliefs and customs, even if they are polar opposit I will tell you a story. Working in the NICU, we had a premature baby die. The nurse was not sensative to the fact that the family was from another culture. The nurse, thinking she was doing a wonderful thing, one that would be appreciated, <WBR>dressed and posed the dead baby and took multiple pict Most parents cherish these as well as the footprints that are made. Unfortunatly, the nurse assumed and didnt ask. The family literally fell out (on the floor screaming and crying) and became hysterical. Their culture and religion prohibited the taking of pictures, and excess handling of the deceased. In the parents darkest moments, someone'someone'<WBR>s good will brought immeasurea The parents believed that their baby would now not go to " our concept of heaven " . Just where would I go to research that subject Deb? Never heard of it in my life and I certainly don't think God's holiness depends on a piece of paper or a post on a website. Much much bigger than either one. But alot of folks may not understand your reasoning behind doing it either and might take it the same way I did. You assume as well that no one knows what they are talking about and that only you do. Again, I am disappointed. Didn't mean for this to be ugly, only to bring it to your attention how it might be taken and I only wish for people to be encouraged and find hope, love and healing through the Lord. Sooo many people need to hear of what he has done for many of us and what he can and will do for them as well. It's all about the love Deb. Let's just keep it that way. [PainInTheNeck- Back] Re: . Deb Can you get on or apply for MEDICAID? Are you on that???? Get on it. ITs not that hard. It goes by income. Almost everyone i know in my state is on t hat. Once you get on that, it pays for doctor visits. Then you can try different doctors. it even covers chiropractic type doctors.Free medicines etc. I was on it before. I applied for medicaid based on disablility. I had to fill out a five page form, list my medical history, what the injury was etc. I qualified as disabled. But that is state not federal like ssi.But ususally it goes on income. > > > ...How does someone go 2, 3, or 4 years with out income living on their own...... > > Couch surfing or living outside, depending on food banks and sometimes food stamps, were the methods I have used for years at a time. This is a laughable reason that should never have been suggested, but I don't know how to fight that without a lawyer. As the lawyer I talked to said that I need extensive RECENT documentation from doctors regarding my disability in order for the lawyer to take my case, I didn't appeal in time. > > I'm brainstorming as to how I can get regular doctor visits before and during the social security process, but I don't even have $5 to pay a sliding scale clinic, and the 'care' I've gotten for migraines at such clinics has been atrocious. > > > > > > > > > > > Darn...
