Besides the fact the beneficial polyphenols found in erd wine are also in

figs, they are also in the fresh grape juice. I believe less so in the

store bought pastuerized grape juice, but no heating in the wine making

process so they caryy over there, but the fresh grape juice has the good

stuff so no need to be drinking wine :-)

I don't believe white chocolate has any real cocoa in it, so not much help

there, same with white grape juice, the bright color of fruits and

vegetables do really have a color coding for beneficial bioactive compounds,

so white grape juice is lacking.

And that doesn't mean that because there is some benefit to choclate, 500

grams a day must be even better :-). The point of the cited study was to

see if a dose reduction in the chocolate still had the beneficial effect,

and by my reading it did seem to say the lower dose was good.

So just a little choclate as to reward ourslves, but no binging :-) And

most choclate does have white sugar in it, which is a negative.

Wow. Your post doesn't make a bit of sense to me except the part

about red-wine. New to the Group here, Hep-C and totally opposed to

alcohol of course.

You don't have to spend time explaining about polyphenols. cocoa and

white sugar; that information is sure to be found with a little

volition on my own.

I'm sure there is plenty to learn. Glad to be here and happy to be

part of an active Group.
