Hello Group

1) First, any weight gain I ever had was due to a) eating to much B) anger

issues and c) depression.

Check you diet your mood, and your medications - all can cause weight gain. One

part of my

body affects the whole.

2) Having CMT since childhood, I have never had a sprain or a broken bone, and

that is

certainly not because I have never done anything! Quite the oppositite! I am

still pretty active.

3) I walk just fine on hard floors, concrete, sand and carpet, all in barefeet

OR with my

orthotics - but give me some grass to walk on and it's over! I actually prefer

to walk on

sand, it is more natural and contours to my feet. I grew up at the beach so when

my Dr.

said " Walk in sand " for feet and leg muscles I did.

4) Other health problems come up in my life from time to time. I do not try to

relate them to

CMT because they aren't. I get everything checked out by my primary Internist

FIRST, only

if he suggests to return to my neurologist do I go. ---Sara
