Guest guest
No wonder my platelets are great! (I had a piece of Hershey's 'Special Dark' in my mouth as I was reading. I LOVE chocolate!) __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Actually, when I got past the word 'chocolate' (yum!!!) and read the article more closely, it shows that chocolate inhibits clotting/platelet function somewhat. However, if you're not a hemophiliac or have really low platelets, it's probably good for the cardiovascular system the same way a low dose of aspirin is, or an occasional glass of red wine. So see, it's STILL good for you. And of course everyone knows it has antidepressant properties. Works for me! And my platelets ARE great! Guest guest
I wonder if it helps the ITP, hope not. That way I have a reason to not like chocolate....now I can stomach white one, if I have too. :-) What about the wine? Actually I like Dos Equis (sp) on tap. Guest guest
LOL Alley....I'm a big tea drinker....and I like chocolate of course....now if we can find an article on the benefits of ice cream....then I'LL have it made. I tried the link you provided for chat....signed up etc etc and then when the screen popped up it was just blank. Hmmm, wonder what's up with that. Will try again. How you doing? Are you back on inteferon? Or are you doing the combo? I've lost track, that darn brain fog....sometimes feels like I'm in pea soup or something. Guest guest
Hey Carol, The java chat window takes a while to load on the delphi sites, and sometimes they don't " catch " , dunno why. Good to hear from you ) alley

Guest guest
Wow, have not heard that name for a long time, and yes I am. Did you know that the Author of McGee was D Mc and he lived in Sarasota FL? Just south of where I lived and was from St Pete FL you go over the Skyway Bridge to get to Sarasota, he even mentions the Skyway, St sburg along with other places. . Mc supposedly wrote a book where McGee was killed off to be published when he died, but I have not seen it and he's be gone for awhile.. Also his stories were based on true events.
