According to richy Rich us aussies do have labor day, next year it is 5th march. He thinks it is because it is the day the unions got the 40 hour week...Mr Knowledgeable!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi ....

Yes, I remember talking with you about it. This place is similar to your place, as I remember checking it out on the website. I do think Beth will be bored too though...even with all of the things to "do." She has brought a friend up there before (we've visited our best friends for 21 years straight up there)...and she will occasionally do that. Now she's asking to bring her boyfriend though. :/ I don't think I like THAT idea....

That new place sounds great. We have a trailer here in IL at a camp resort and is it so relaxing. However, my boys have often been "bored". I have a VCR with 50 some movies, have games galore, have sports equipment, the place has a few pools, beaches, boats, fishing, all kinds of things to do, and we have bikes for the boys and there is a lot to do. Of course my son with Aspergers and ADHD loves to bring books but he has really no friends, but he plays well with Nate my 10 year old. Nate likes to invite a friend now and then. Would Beth be able to bring a friend up with you all? Could Beth bring some things to do and games and so forth?All the best and enjoy...

to clean but can't get started. I have that problem too, in " knowing " I

I have done this twice recently. Once, I kept smelling a fishy odor &

realized I put the salmon steaks in the cabinet instead of the

freezer, took me a good 4-5 days to realize it. The other thing, I put

the mayo in the cabinet instead of fridge. Jess just threw it away &

didn't say a word. Lol.

I am not happy about Labor Day either. I reflect about my well paying

nursing career that I had for 33 years. Once I lost my career, I found out,

that sure I had a lot of material things, which did not bring me happiness,

but it brought be significant debt from foolish spending. Sure I am

working, but it is taking a toll on me physically, for so little money. Hard

physical work, is the cause of my arthritis. I am one who never wanted to give

up, & being in the Army gave me the discipline to believe I could do

anything I wanted to. Now I have stopped believing in myself as a nurse,

because no one wants to hire me. I guess I should be happy, that I can still

work, & with the public. I would make twice as much if I went on disability.

Dave, I would be happy if I could work to my full capacity at work,

without having to endure significant pain. I would also like to not be looked

as

a slacker, because I need modifications in my work setting. Just a year

ago I was able to work 12 hour shifts, & now I can only work 4 hours fairly

comfortably. After working 12 hours, I was able to come home, & take care

of my animals. June
