Guest guest
Dave, Personally, I wish I could go to sleep on the 23rd and wake up on the 26th! I did all my shopping online and made gifts too. The emotional part of the season is hard for me as I lost both parents, today, matter of fact, 18 or so years apart. (Mom just 4 years ago) My sibling just thinks life is a party. (he's 47!) I have toned Xmas WAY down this year and getting extra rest. Also so far I got all my sage, roses, and jasmine cut back in the backyard, and in the front, got 1/2 of my roses done until I fell off my seat into some prickly branches. (on my rear end!) I am sure my neighbors were thinking I was trying to do a Laurel and Hardy remake! Anyway, I took that as 'a sign' LOL to STOP, go inside and double check when the garden crew is coming due to our rains. LOL some are sicker than others as we say in 12 step program! I have also tried to spend more time in services to remember what Xmas is all about too. That is a comfort to me at this time. ~ Gretchen
