Guest guest Posted December 22, 2001 Report Share Posted December 22, 2001 Not to beat a dead horse, but I think maybe this guy " Tommy " and his friend " Pheonix " are just confused. I think it's very likely that the guy has CMV--cytomegalovirus--which is a virus that attacks the liver, and I believe it causes the 3rd type of hepatitis, Hepatitis C. It can kill you. It IS transmitted in blood. The treatment for it, among other medications, is radiation therapy. I wish I had seen his posting before all the fuss started, and maybe " headed it off at the pass " . Nontheless I hope the man finds reliable information for himself somewhere. Obviously his dr didn't spend enough time with him!
