Guest guest
Donna, My first attempt at treatment appears to have been very much like yours, I had to stop. It was either that or quick work, and at that time my employer did not know I was on treatment for any purpose, and I wasn't going to tell them. It would have been an act of professional suicide. Plus, the project I was working on required my interaction. So, I stopped treatment. It was becoming increasing impossible to climb up the 12 or so steps up to my loft office, without becoming winded and flushed in the face. Six months later I restarted treatment. However, it was determined following this second attempt at treatment that I was a non-responder. Yet, many people have been successful - or at least have maintained a non-detectible viral load count following retreatment. I have learned that each person's body respond's differently to retreatment. Unfortunately, there is no clear cut answer to your concern if the disease becomes untreatable or not after one attempt at treatment. However, please speak with your doctor and get a second opinion too. Happy Holidays,
