Guest guest
My doc says my liver is not showing signs of healing and thinks the damage may be worse than originally suspected. I'm scheduled for an EGD (scope down the throat) on the 12th to see if my blood vessles are rerouting and going up into the esophagus. My AST's and ALT's are steadily rising and I'll know where my viral load stands around the 22nd to see if the tx is even helping. In the meantime I'm just going to do what I've been doing, staying clean and hoping for the best. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Guest guest
Hey Gayle, I'm so sorry to hear your bad news. But keep positive & things might not be as bad as they seem. I know it's alot easier said than done, beleive me, it's very hard to do! I went to my Liver Doc. yesterday, not good news either! My blood is real low, my eyes are all f_____ up ( they don't know why, they said sides from the TX ). I have 2 Tumers 1 on my left Rib & 1 on the right side of the back of my neck! The thrush won't go away & I can't get rid of the sores & ulcers in my throat & mouth! I mean this CRAZY! I don't know what they expect people like us to do? Not to mention the severe Fatigue & Hair Loss, & I think for me the worst is the mental & emotional part! So my Doc. is taking me from 1200 mg. of Riba down to 1000 mg. Oooooh! such a big difference. He said if my blood doesn't come back up it's off the treatments I go! He doesn't want to put me on Procrit due to other sides. So I guess I'm screwed again! I sure hope things turn out ok for you. I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers always! Gotta go now, I'm trying to locate a noose around hear! LOL Take Care, Gayle <mollydamaula@...> wrote: My doc says my liver is not showing signs of healing and thinks the damage may be worse than originally suspected.
