hes not being realistic,he may not really fully understand that even with

treatment this disease is still with us and he is not understanding the

seriousness of it. theres other ways to satify him, make it fun,use your

hand, some guys are recharge by sex and if it makes him " happy " find other ways

to give him that.

Hi everyone...I make no secret of my having Hep C from anyone in the medical or

dental field.  Anyone who might come in contact with any blood.

I'm really having a bad day today.  Alot of pain in my abdomen not to mention

the damned depression.  It's just a bad day. Tired and knowing that I have to

return to work tomorrow.  I just hope that this pain in my abdomen area goes

away.  Today for some reason I am feeling so lost and alone. I guess it's the

depression talking to me.  Anyone else feeling the same???  Hope you have

someone to talk to and comfort you...  Thanks for listening guys and gals. GOD

BLESS YOU ALL......Chris

Hello Lin,

I don't know what might be available for other chat software/operating

systems. You might try a Google search on encrypted chat. I just did

now and there are a number of sites offering free encrypted e-mail and

chat.

Ah, here is a URL for encrypted Skype:

http://www.skype.com/security/security/

Click on that link and see if what you encounter meets what you are

looking for. If you encounter problems, feel free to e-mail off group

to aa2qa@...

Best regards from Rochester, NY

Hello ,

Although I have no pain, I was going into depression (the result of the

plant closing and moving to China).

I've a good job now with a good company (hey, they match the first *six*

percent of what you put into your 401K), but tend to keep busy.

Fixed an electronic organ today. Fixed another electronic organ

Saturday. Found the problem with a tape recorder last week and have the

component now. Fixed a laptop two weeks ago. I've another laptop about

to get fixed.

I've found it useful to keep busy. Really busy. I feel great now.

Best regards from Rochester, NY

wow,i'm just reading your email and now im wondering if my dad had hep c, he was

Hey, Jim! I, too, was in the Navy. 1964-1967. Had air gun shots in boot camp,

but also another big round before going to land in 'Nam in 1966. In the 1970's,

my Doctor discovered I was sterile, and probably from 'Nam. When the Hep C was

discovered, it was said the 'Nam Vets were 10 time more likely to get the

disease than regular folks. Those damned air guns were rarely cleaned. Most

junkies are more careful than that! No the VA will never help us. But no one

will ever spit on me like they did in Boston as a 'Nam Vet in 1967! I've

forgotten that past and don't look past with any regrets. I only look to the

future for a better and healthier life.

We have *ten times* the infection rate of the general public. If you

recall, they finally 'fessed up to the veterans exposed to radiation -

after many of them had passed. I was also surprised that U.K.

scientists proved that air guns can pass the virus. You are right;

those guns weren't cleaned. The guy 2 ahead of me jumped when they gave

him the injection and it cut him pretty badly. Blood all over the gun.

Didn't matter. Keep on going. Nah, air guns can't pass hep. Sure.

They must have hired the lawyers from the cigarette manufacturers. No

one wants to pay for anything. Just tax the poor and what little is

left of the working class. Tax Social Security. Heck, $24,000 per year

is *big* bucks. Tax half of your SS check. I'd hate to live on $12.00

per hour.

I'm sorry to hear of your reception back in the states. Rochester is

not that big and there was no reception, good or bad. Just as well.

I feel sorry for the vets in Afghanistan (and Iraq) these days. I

cannot fathom deployment as long as they have it. I ended up with 11

month of combat pay (don't recall how much it was, but it was *far* less

than $100 bucks a month). As I recall, an E-4 over 4 in 1970 was just a

tad over $300 per month. I've an idea. Start the draft and make it

illegal to draft anyone whose income is under six figures. That could

prove interesting.

Best regards from Rochester, NY
