Guest guest
Hey , Heel cords, I guess I brought that term to ya. It is the tendon that runs down the back of your lower leg and goes under your heel in the back. If they are 'tight' umm, Example - when you wake up and get out of bed and stand up do you feel a pulling sensation in the back of your lower leg, heel area. That means they are a bit tight. In more severe case, one can be a 'toe walker,' which is exactly what it sounds like. That 'cord' or tendon is so tight that your feet don't lay flat on the ground when you stand and you walk on your toes. For 'ME,' in the morning I have to gently move my foot from laying straight out and pull it up so it is at 90 degrees to my leg. I just use a long towel or, if my cat hasn't hidden it, this long rubber band that the physical therapist gave me and I gently pull my feet up towards me about ten times on each foot to help stretch the tendon before I try and stand. But if you have any symptoms, you should see A PHYSICAL THERAPIST they will tell you if you have tight heel cords and if you need to do this or other 'excercises.' Hope you have a great day - I knew you were a 'STRONG GIRL' - that's the name of my Film Production company - Strong Girl Productions, so just a little joke talk soon Peace & Love Judy g. shannon marzinski wrote: > Hey everyone, > > I hope your all doing good....I just wanted to say thanks for everyone > > who responded to my 'bad day' email....It just gets tough sometimes > but > you all reminded me to reach for my dreams and to aim for the stars in > > 'MY' sky and that we are all different in this world. > > Now, I also have a question-What are heel cords? Guest guest
Hey everyone, I hope your all doing good....I just wanted to say thanks for everyone who responded to my 'bad day' email....It just gets tough sometimes but you all reminded me to reach for my dreams and to aim for the stars in 'MY' sky and that we are all different in this world. Now, I also have a question-What are heel cords? Where are they in your feet? What do they do? What's normal, what's not? Just wondering! Thanks ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today!
