Guest guest
Dave, it is so nice of you to welcome the newcomers to ! You have only been with us a short time; I see you have learned much for someone that was so recently diagnosed and confused by our terms. Are we helping you already? Great! ~ G numbthumb2@... wrote: > Again welcome to our group, feel free to post or answer posts, you > will learn a lot about CMT and how to deal with it, >
Guest guest
Gretchen, It's true I am new to your group, and I am not very knowledgeable of the CMT vernacular or the the terms used by CMT'ers. (though I now have a wonderful " Term Glossary " ). But I have dealt with, and struggled with, CMT for over 30 years, I fought it before that as a child too but didn't know it, for they called it " Growing Pains, " and being " Awkward " or " Clumsy " or even " Lazy " , when I was but a child. I have researched CMT for years, and know a great deal on the subject, but knowledge alone is cold, and with out emotion to drive our curiosity everything becomes stale. And emotions are driven by having people to chat with, to share with, even to debate with. All my life I have struggled with all the CMT problems alone, now I have found the CMT groups, and I finally feel like I'm part of something, finally there are people who have walked down the paths I have walked, struggled with the same things I have struggled. I feel like I am part of something good, and potentially a wonderful tool for people with CMT. I think the reason I welcome newcomers to the group is because I want everyone to know from the moment they get on board we are a group of people who want to help, who want to be there for them, people they can trust, and become friends with, People who understand where they have been, because we have been there.. People who really CARE..... Thanks for your welcome aboard.... ~Dave~ > Dave, it is so nice of you to welcome the newcomers to !
