Thanks ,

Quite interesting info. What a bitch the head injury. Hope it gets

nothing but better. In anycase at least you are still able to

communicate with other well know mental defectives like me and

Sally.

:)

Sorry if I kept missing your earlier posts top of page is much easier

to find.

I too have the riba with a well balanced meal although believe low

fat is good. been low fat so long it gives me acid refux if I eat

fatty food, hamburger especially.

I have a system to keep track of doses. Especially early in the

treatment I sometimes missed a dose and would take one extra reba

every day for next three days eventhough you'r not supposed to. that

may not be a good idea but keeping track with a system is good when

you can't rememeber stuff.

Alas no beer for me. I take the riba after my first bite of food

when stomach acid is highest to max the uptake. Then I wait until

the end of the meal to take any other supplements. I don't want

something like calcium to dominate uptake and cut the riba dose.

In regard to growing HCV I would love to know the exact conditions

the little buggers like what temp, ph, iron and mineral levels are

optimal.

For some reason in humans they seem to thrive in the high oxidant

environment with lots of iron and copper. Not sure why but there is

a mathematical model that can predict viral load based on copper,

oxidant level and selenium and zinc. Reduce selenium and zinc and

other antioxidants add more cooper and the little buggers florish.

These bad conditions are typical of hep c chronic patients so the

disease seems over time to actually help create a condition in the

body that's bad for the immune system but good for viral growth and

liver damage. This may explain why viral levels often go up slowly

year after year the longer you have it.

This was a study in Japan of people on chemo so to me it is the most

important research study ever done. It points the way to improving

treatment outcomes on chemo which I desperately wanted having such

low odds to begin with.

Best luck,

Mike
