Guest guest Posted October 28, 2006 Report Share Posted October 28, 2006 Thats a good place to start...there are however other preparations that contain more than one strain which I think are more effective...because they help promote faster colonization, and they have lactococcus, and pediococcus that help reduce spoilage from cultured dairy products. If the acidophilus seems to do well for you, stick to it...keeping in mind that you can try others should you feel that you need something more. The one I like the most is called Jarro-dophilus and I think its widely available. You may need to check the refrigerated section...thats usually where they keep it.
