Thank you for the welcome.

This group is great. As soon as I can get my mom back online, I'll get

her to join too. In fact I just got off the phone with her. She has been

having very serious problems resulting from a wound she got from her leg

braces. About six months ago she had her knee replaced and they noticed

a wound from her braces rubbing - it was in a spot she couldn't see.

Anyway it resulted in her having to have a small part of her foot

amputated resulting from a bone infection. Everything else has healed

EXCEPT the stupid wound! But she is one strong woman at 62 year old & 5

foot nothing - she's a ball of fire when she feels good.

So, I don't care if you have to ask your neighbor, if you have lost

sensation and wear braces, check and check often - PLEASE, we almost

lost my Mom to this infection.
