Southern California Hep C Fest

i everyone. I was diagnosed with Hep C in

January and I am now trying to get into a clinical trial

at USC for the Combo therapy. I haven't had

any other treatment yet. I live in Los Angeles. I

recently found out about something I'd like to share with

the members of this group. (If you don't already

know). On October 10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,

there will be a Southern California Hepatitis Awareness

Festival at Irvine Regional Park in Orange

California. It will be a great opportunity to meet other people

with this disease and to hear some really great

speakers on a variety of topics from clinical trials to

nutrition to oriental medicine to patient

advocacy. The Hepfest Coordinator is Carol Craig, who I had the

opportunity to meet at a picnic she had for members of the

support groups she runs. She's a dynamite lady who's down

for this cause and is a great advocate for people
