Please post the following to your e-mail lists: Please make a note. HR 1961 is the bill number assigned to "The Breast Implant Research and Information Act." Please use that number when you write or e-mail your Representatives asking them to co-sponsor this new important legislation on women's health issues. Rep. Roy Blunt (R-7-MO) and Rep. Gene Green (D-29-TX) introduced this bill. The following Representatives have already agreed to co-sponsor: Rep. JoAnn Emerson (R-8-MO), Rep. Corrine Brown (D-3-FL), Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick (D-15-MI), Rep. ny Isakson (R-6-GA), Rep. Danny K. (D-7-IL), Rep. Jim McCrery (R-4-LA), Rep. G. Oxley (R-4-OH), Rep McCarthy (D-5-MO), Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney (D-14-NY), Rep. E. Bonior (D-10-MI), Rep. Bob Filner (D-50-CA), Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-13-OH), Rep. Sherrod Brown (D-13-OH), Rep. A. (D-20-TX), Rep. R. McNulty (D-21-NY), Rep. Sheila Lee (D-18-TX), and Rep. Carson (D-10-IN). We hope to have the bill introduced in the Senate soon by Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Senator Kay Hutchison (R-TX). With everyone's help and bi-partisan support, we may get this bill passed this year. To keep up with the status of the bill and the co-sponsors, you can access the information on the web by typing in .loc.gov. When they ask for the bill number, just type in HR1961. We need to add two Representatives per week as co-sponsors to reach our goal of 100. Please do your part. Keeling
