Guest guest
When someone feels the need to use the foulest of language in posts and to intentionally try to hurt others, their posts will be deleted. This is a club for SUPPORT, not for degradation.

I for one am glad you have joined us. You said you had a question...what was it? Guest guest
freedman,
welcome my friend i have read your post and could not agree more with you. i just recently joined this clubs as i have hep c stage 3 failed at combo and the future is not to bright, upon my joining this club i was greeted by a person stating that this club was responsible for someone's death and was exhibiting foul abusive language and showing a general disregard to other peoples feelings .Now wether that was sickliver i have no idea i was called a few choice words and im over it i hold no ill will to who ever it was i pray for that person as a matter of fact , we all have enough problems with our illness, and everyday life that we should be able to at least respect each other and go about this chat in a fun clean manner now if that means someone has thier feelings hurt because thier message is not posted because they decide to use foul language and threats to portray thier message and intentions then i think i made a wise choice by joining this club. i hope you can meet some good people and are able to benifit from whatever clubs you decide to join and if i can help you in anyway i look foward to chattin with you once again welcome.
wolfe
Guest guest
The question was what makes you such a big deal? You are always correcting people and " talking " to them like they are stupid. Are you the only authority on HCV? There is an old saying that states " It is better to keep silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. " Think about it! Guest guest
Yes I know that saying...and you have just proved it correct. I have never acted like I am an authority on HCV, but I do run a Support Group, AND I am a founder of this club. I have the right to delete any posts that are derogetory in nature. I don't talk to anyone here like they are stupid. If you don't like this club, you are free to join another one.
Guest guest
Thank you for the wonderful advice! I have found another club where the people are nice and the founders don't act like " big deals " . I guess that is why there is so much more activity and sharing going on there. I would tell you the name of the club, but then you might join! I feel really sorry for you, because you are in such denial, and your last post proves it. I hope the people out there can find the support the need, because you sure can't get it here!
Guest guest
Freedman,

Free country yes it is ...but it's free to all of us. I have to believe that you have either not seen the posts in question or believe that the individual has the right to influence others as THEY see fit. The censorship that we employ takes into consideration all who might browse the club. Including our children and those who choose not to use vulgarity in their lives. I for one respect that. That to me IS individual freedom.

It strikes me odd that so many are ready to defend ANYONE yet we sit on our asses in our own communities and watch our values erode. My question to you would be; What do you stand for? If your 8 year old daughter was interested in learning more about her daddy's disease and some one was spewing the likes of which we've seen .... how would you feel? What rights would your daughter have and you as a parent? Or are the " rights " of the individual more valuable than your families.

I dunno .... we wanted to create a place where people felt safe and open and could come and learn, I never thought that the issues that we are dealing with would ever be a part HCV.

As far as anyone dieing ... that's beyond any of us to have been able to do ...this is a computer not an operating room or a pharmacy or a Dr.'s office ....
