My sister and I were shopping in Penny's one day and my sister asked where the Woment sizes were and they said upstairs in the back of the store. She walked in the oppisite direction and the sales girl told her that she needed to go the other way. She stood right there and said I will go there when you move all the other ladies clothes there. And keep in mind, disability usually turns you down the first time and you have to appeal. Make sure you have records of all medical history even not related to HCV. Most of the time they will not give just for HepC. Mine was a dual diagnosis and they had to link the symptoms together to finally approve me. So It was no fun! And all labs and med records help along with a doc that will clasify you disabled. Make sure you appeal if turned down the first time and don't take it too hard. Hopefully something will work out. Guest guest Posted February 23, 2003 Report Share Posted February 23, 2003 I just checked the earthquake site. Big Bear has had 178 earthquakes since the 5.4 they had yesterday at 4:20 am yesterday!! It lasted the whole time I was in the hospital. As they were trying to send me for x-rays before discharge, I was demanding tylenol to take away the shivers so I could leave my room to get the required x-rays before discharge. Trying to get tylenol in a hospital is pretty hard when it is for a slight fever and chills. I had the same kind of reaction when they had to revise some of my hardware 1 month after my original surgery. I was told I would not need blood and my BP was dropping so low they would not let my family into the recovery area. They ended up having to give me 1 pint of blood and I got the same low grade fever and chills back again. I was supposed to stay only one night after surgery and they ended up keeping me three additional nights due to the fever.
