No I do admit I'm not a doctor but I have lived with CMT fr 41 years. Radiation

therapy has nothing to do with CMT and the fact that you hang out with him and

you doctor thinks you might need radiation therapy definitely has nothing to do

with CMT.

CMT is an inherited condition that affects the nerves and the muscles in the

body to which there is NO cure. Maybe you're friend Tommy has got his diagnosis

totally mixed up if that is the case then yes I'm very sorry but he definitely

does not have CMT.

And to be honest his quip about AFO's did nothing to endear him to me.

If Tommy really does have a problem then I really hope he gets it sorted out

soon but judging by what you've said he certainly does not have CMT.

That's not giving him a hard time - that's just giving him facts about CMT.

Flying saucers are not what we're about but again if you wish to email me

privately I will give you my interpretation of your friends AFO's but it's

better done privately as I said.

get radiation too. And our doctor is Dr. Nick Riviera and he's very

competent so why don't you let people live their lives in peace?

I apologize on his behalf for the AFO comment, even though I can't

find it. He has like mental problems and stuff. Because of all the

stuff he's been thru. Also here in Canada where we live we have a

unique accent so that may have led to the misinterpritation eh? Ya we

You're irrational outburst has proved nothing my friend and it certainly does

not explain anything. I think you're best bet is to (I would say piss off) but

I'm too much of a lady to say that and go and find some sight other than ours.

Our group is a support group for people with problems which obviously you or

your sad friend can not even begin to comprehend but for people who despite the

dreadful handicaps and problems they endure remain positive and are happy to

share the worst of their life's experiences. In other words real people not

jerks who think it's funny to both patronise and insult.

I won't send regards because I really don't think either of you are worth it.

Ok! I think you...yeah you need to pull you're head out of what ever hole you've

had it in ,and stop this garbage!!! You only make yourself look stupid! Maybe

your bored and have nothing better to do up there in good ol cold Canada,but I

think I have a few suggestions!You can e-mail me as well and I will b glad to

share those with you. You must be a really heatless person to get kicks out of

this.If you really do have a problem like CMT (highly unlikely)you are messing

with people with physical disabilities not mental!!!!! These people are

wonderful, and willing to help people unconditionally!!!!!So feel free to e-mail

me and maybe I can help you figure out what kinda site might be approprite for

you!!!! Remember that you dont (I asume) have children yet,god forbid something

happen to them it's wonderful people like the ones you are harrasing that may

i just got back in town from a doctors appointment in

South Carolina with my son, and i am reading these

posts now to catch up (152 of them lol) all i can say

to this blood transfusion stuff and all is " some

people and their children, lol, what can we do with

them " lmao. it's amazing how immature some peole can

be.

THAT'S TRUE, RENNEE (I say as I am getting ready to go teach my high

school kids-lol) But, ya know, as much stupid little things my kids do,

the high school (minus administrators & some other teachers) I work at

is so wonderful, for a city school, when it comes to compassion. Then

again, it is a PERFORMING ARTS school. I really wonder if that does have

anything to do with it. When I started there four years ago, I had a

student - the biggest ball of trouble, ironicallly he had CMT! So did

his mom. But Jake - what a handful -He's LEGENDARY!. And you know, he

never complained though, about how tired he got or anything like that.

He came back to visit and saw me in my wheelchair, I think it freaked

him out. We had a good talk and I think he learned more than he

expected from his visit. I do remember he had some problems with other

teachers because they thought he was lazy. His mom told them about his

CMT, but because they couldn't SEE it, it didn't exist to them. I don't

know why I brought this up, but all I can say is that my (kids) students

are the BEST, when it comes to my inability to do certain things I used

to be able to do and to accept me unconditionally. That's all.
