Guest guest
Dan, My biopsys were so long ago I don't care anymore. You asked the question regarding biopsies, I simply responded with My Experience. Are you trying to redignose me? You had normal biopsys so i was wondering why and asked since what i have read says other wise. then you asked if i asked my dr. as i said why would i when i had just heard you had normal biopsys that day. but i am going to ask him my next appointment, unless i can find something on the internet that explains it or someone here knows the answer. you brought up a good question about results of biopsys with neuromuscular problems when you said yours was normal. i don't ask many questions here, but seems like every time i do have a question you get defensive towards me, i don't see that attitude from you with others on here. maybe i just ask the wrong questions for you. its not intentional. i do like reading all the questions and answers here. you learn how others are doing with cmt and what works what does not work for some. i know maybe you don't care about your results of the biopsys but its odd they are normal and i would think anyone with this diease would like to know why yours was normal when others with this disease are not normal. what makes yours normal could be important. maybe something in your genes or how your diet is or something like that. since having a normal biopsy of nerves shows nothing wrong with the nerves and cmt is a nerve disease i find thats intersting and just would like to understand why. sorry if my questions are such a bother. thats how we learn. and i was under the impression that was what this group was formed for. dan > Dan Manor wrote: > > >Gretchen why would I ask my dr. this question? i only heard of your normal > > biopsys today after reading the mail. and from all i have read and that is > > alot since being diagnosed, eveything says the biopsy shows myelin or axon > > damage, nothing says normal biopsy results if you have cmt. i think its > > something you should ask your dr. not me ask my dr. wouldn't make any sense > > for me to ask my dr. i did not have the biopsy. ______________________________________________________________________________ Send a friend your Buddy Card and stay in contact always with Excite Messenger http://messenger.excite.com
