Guest guest
Hi Grace, Here it is 3:30am. I couldn't sleep, so here I am. Just nerves, I guess. A while back, I was on Wellbutrin for 7 years, since I already have a problem/tendency toward depression. It runs in the family it seems. I got myself slowly off of it a year ago, with no problem. I just took it slowly. I'm planning to get on a small dose again to see how I do with it and then get off of it when I finish treatment. When on monotherapy, I needed it. I already have hay fever and allergies to grass, tree, and some flower pollens. I hope the symptoms don't get too much worse, but if they do, I'll handle it. Losing my hair doesn't bother me. Mine is too thick to start with, anyway. I've heard some people talk about sores in their nose and mouth. I don't look forward to those side effects. I'm planning to buy a gallon bottle of water and I'll refill it every day. I guess I'll need to stay close to the bathroom. . I don't have to work and I admire you for being able to work while going through the treatment. I'm a " professional volunteer " , as I call it, and work at the hospital and my church. They have been warned that I might not be able to come in as much. But I'm going to try to do as much as I can, including continuing my walks. Thanks for all the other info on the side effects. Hang in there. See some funny movies, it helps me laugh and that's supposed to be therapeutic. Marie
Guest guest
Hi Marie, I hope you're sleeping :-) Depression and mental illness runs in my family as well. So I was particularly scared of those sides prior to starting tx. I feel very fortunate to be able to say that I've managed to hang in there so far. I had allergies/hay fever like yours prior to tx as well. But I haven't heard of anyone else so far that has the sneezing, snotty nose thing I have - so maybe it's just an isolated incident - I don't know. It never ceases to amaze me how there can be almost as many different reactions to tx as people on it. Have a good day and keep fighting! Grace > Hi Grace, > Here it is 3:30am.
