Guest guest Posted December 3, 2001 Report Share Posted December 3, 2001 , I DID have both MRI and the Spinal Tap. The MRI was actually a Cat Scan in those days. My brain was clear and so was the spinal fluid. Indicating NO MS. Like I said, MS is an autoimmune system disease, whereas CMT is a peripheral nerve disorder. 2 seperate body systems. I don't know anything else about MS. Remember, there are plenty of neuro disorders with some possible symptoms. Why not get on an MS list and ask them or simply ask your Dr??
