Guest guest
Just curious...has anyone had success with Occupational Therapy in terms of helping you cope with your CMT??? I'm so surprised at the benefit I'm getting from it. It's helping me to think differently in how I approach my day, getting things done, prioritizing, etc. The physical therapist only gave me exercises, but my OT has such a comprehensive approach, helping me to find the best way to do things I have to do, rather than adding more activity in the form of exercise. I have started on a strengthening program, but it focuses on the upper arms and shoulders to avoid overworking the CMT-affected areas. Just curious if OT has been an eye-opener for anyone else.
