Bonnie,

The doctors did let you know, no Steroids with Hep C didn't they. I take

allergy shots, don't have asthma, but go into asthmatic attacks when I am in

dusty moldy places. It's a killer. But they will not give me steroids. I do

crave sugar, always have. Try to keep it down and eat fruit, but some times I

just have to say what the heck. My weight! Another story. Started at 5'3 " ,

115 lbs, now I fluctuate from 110 to 97 lbs. Have wordrobe in every size from

size 1-5 and stretchies for when my tummy swells. Never know what I am going to

be?? Fun, Fun!! Dana

have it and I crave sugar like mad. I had lost almost 20 pounds prior to

diagnosis. Now It is all coming back on. ARGH

Well when I was given steroids this last time My Dr was out of town and some

other Dr filled in. I didn't like him and I only took them for a couple of

days. they made me feel crappy... well they made me feel worse then they

usually do. Besides I had the biopsy coming up so I only took them for 7 days

instead of 15. Clinically my asthma has improved over the year so hopefully

I will not need steroids again, and if I do they will have to find an

alternative.

Bonnie,

I am sure you did, but just in case, I would let your GI know before you start

treatment. One of the side effects can be breathing problems. Just concerned!
