Guest guest
i think i read somewhere it's not just the protein in meat, but special avoidance of meat in general due to the hormones most US meats are injected with to promote yields which is most damaging to the liver. don't know where i saw this in my net travels but if i come across it again i'll attach the link. the buelljockey Re: Drinking ??!!?? It's the animal fat that the liver has a hard time processing. I was told and have read that broiled fish is the closest to meat we should go. any animal product can contain pathogins that could be fatal to us with compensated livers. Guest guest
i've had headaches ever since i started the peg-intron. i've been off the treatment for 3 mos and still have some pretty bad ones. they start either in the middle of my head above my ear or right above my eyes. the one above the ear feels like someone driving a spike clean through my head from right to left. I have used something call Orudis KT, which is a form of ketoprofin and i have read, and seen on the packaging, that it is not only liver safe, but can have advantageous effects on the liver. my doc says it's good stuff and safe but it doesn't work for everyone. i take 2 in the am and 1 about every 6-8 hours to minimize (not eliminate) the headaches. works for me. the buelljockey Re: Drinking ??!!?? Sometime I go through a bottle of motrin a week, I have always had migrains but this just sucks. I have had a headache for 2 days and it will not go away. ARGH! Guest guest
Yes, you would think all these big stars finally showing they have it would get in on treatment and cures. I wonder if it is because they don't want to stay straight. Probably still drinkin and drugin, don't know. But other stars with deseases seam to do much more!!! Dana theemoculli@... wrote:Thank God I knew the answer before he told me it wouldnt hurt to have a few beers. Yep....I feel like he's a quack too. Naomi didnt pick her doctor......she had a team of close friends and family members research and locate the top doc in the field.......She got no special treatment other than major privacy concerning her treatment. The fact that she hasn't led a movement to help anyone else in her shoes makes me feel like she's lacking something in the christian department...... I dont know what her problem is or even care. I know where to find the team that treated her....and I'm in line!!!!!

Guest guest
I will be taking interferon and some other pill he said the " combo " treatment. I am still pretty new to all the meds and stuff. I just don't like the idea of weekly injections. He told me to plan to have crappy weekends for the next year. LOL Bonnie

Guest guest
Bonnie....the needle is so small..... I KID YOU NOT! YOU WON'T FEEL THE NEEDLE IF THE ALCHOL IS DRY! The pegintron doesn't burn or sting. If you shoot in straight fat.......you MAY feel slight pressure if you inject too fast. My 3rd shot is Friday. I'm thinking about doing it as soon as I'm off work. Right after I get my second blood tests done. Emo
