Hi ,

When I read your post about dancing, I almost wept. One of the

things I am 'mourning' over is not being able to dance anymore. My

husband and I used to go out dancing just about every weekend, and I

know he misses it too, but he never says a word.

My oldest son gets maried in 10 days, and he told me he has picked

out a song for us to dance to. It breaks my heart to think that I'll

probably not be able to ever dance with him again. I was always so

proud that when my boys were teenagers, they were never embarrassed to

dance with me. Now, I'm just praying that I'll be able to hang onto my

son and fake it and not fall. Guess I'll wear some waterproof mascara

and try my best.

And I know how you feel about your friends. I have 2 good friends

who call and send me " happy " cards....but they rarely ask me to go

anywhere with them. It hurts and I feel left out, but I think they are

afraid I might see pity in their eyes-and that would ruin it for me.

So thanks for your candid thoughts-its helped me put a few things

into words here that have been swimming around in my head.

Midge
