My friend went back to her doctor yesterday

morning... and... [drumroll, please!]... after a year of the

Rebetron combo-therapy, all of the bloodwork is clean,

liver function is completely back to normal, and HCV

levels are undetectable!!! WOO HOO!!!!! The doctor has

basically declared victory (*for* her, and gave *her* ALL

the credit; I thought that was nice of him--

everybody is proud of her for sticking with it, despite

some intense sides); she just needs to go back in for

precautionary bloodwork at 3 months, 6 months, one year, and

then regularly after that.<br><br>I'm so happy -- and

relieved -- right now. Keep on fighting, it IS possible to

come out on top of this thing.<br><br>:-)<br><br>-Seb.
