I just read in one of my wheat free cook books that you can also use arrowroot instead of cornstarch for thickening. Before I buy any, is arrowroot acceptable? What about rice vinegar? Guest guest
Hi Hichang Cho I work with MJ, who is now 16 and has SMA, type 1. MJ has had dislocated hips since she was 2 1/2 years of age. She stood from the time she was 18 months until she was 10. Standing is good if you can get the feet spread apart so the legs are in an upside down V position. Like this _/\_ Does that make sense. Putting the legs in the V position helps keep the hips aligned properly. Hip dislocation is very common in SMA, so it is nothing major. Surgery is only indicated if severe pain accompanies it. MJ hasn't had surgery and hers pop in and out all the time. good luck. > > From: Hichang Cho <hc71us@...> > Subject: hip dislocation and standing excercise > > Hi all, > > My six year old daughter, SMA II, was recently disanosed with hip > dislocation. I was doing really good until a week ago, and the fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks! Then I realized that I got lazy about the water and vitamins and proteins, so I'm getting back in the groove again. I hate feeling like I haven't slept in a week! The Janice I was talking about lives in IL. She mostly lurked, but posted a little when she was doing treatment. She mentioned something about going to a support group at Central DuPage Hospital, which is near where I live. We posted back and forth privately for a while, and then she left the group. Yeah, Janice in Nashville - you still here? We miss hearing from you! Take care, Pam! Marilyn ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi Marilyn! I am so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well! Fatigue overtakes me alot too and I probably am not taking my vits and herbs the way I used to either. Going to get a grip on that soon ;-) I wake up tired! LOL I don't think I know the other Janice but I hope she is doing okay. People disappear from these lists and I get worried but then they pop back on again a year or two later and I can go COOL :-) LOL TTYL Peace and Love, Pam
Guest guest
Hotep , I attempted popcorn from the local co-op and it never amounted to anything but wet popcorn. Makes you think. I'll ask around at the local Farmer's Market if they have field corn. Thanks for the link and information. Jerry, I'm at the other end of Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh and we have the same problem with a lack of organic choices. There are more pricey " gourmet " stores than actual organic stores. I guess I can have a say with the local co-op. In a message dated 03/12/2006 5:30:12 P.M.
